Mela Table Lamps by Pia Guidetti Crippa for Lumi italian lighting including a few small areasPair of small table lamps designed by Pia Guidetti Crippa for Lumi, Italy. Known as the Mela model, the design combines an opaline glass globe with a folded metal structure, creating a compact sculptural lighting object characteristic of late twentieth century Italian design. Each lamp consists of a spherical opaline glass diffuser resting within a brushed metal sheet bent into a continuous curved form. The base integrates an elongated circular cut
