It looks like it was stored for some length of time because there was an even amount of surface rust on it. Surface rust develops from lack of seasoning over time and dormant use. The interior has some small pitted areas and they are displayed in the pics. The pitting will not affect any cooking and is purely cosmetic. This is typically sold at the 1K
